The Most Important Minute of Your Life

1. God’s Good Design

God created the world as a place of love, peace, and life — a world where humans could know Him, reflect His character, and enjoy His presence forever.

2. Our Rebellion

But something went terribly wrong. We rejected God’s authority and chose our own way. The Bible calls this sin — our decision to rule our lives instead of letting God rule. Sin shattered our relationship with God and filled the world with shame, guilt, and death.

3. God’s Rescue

But God did not abandon His world. In love, He stepped into His creation in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus lived the life we failed to live, died the death we deserved, and rose again to bring forgiveness, new life, and a renewed world under His reign. Through Jesus, God is making all things new - beginning with people who turn and trust Him.

4. Our Response

God calls every person to respond to the good news of Jesus.  "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

To respond is to turn from sin and bow to Jesus as Lord — trusting His death and resurrection as God’s way of making all things new. Through Him, we are restored to God and brought into His kingdom, where life once again flourishes under His reign.
